Vanessa, Paula, Jonathan and Victoria from Year 6 attended the Sydney Youth Writing Competition Presentation Night on Tuesday the 25th of November, the presentation was held at Parliament House. All four were finalists in the short story or poetry sections of the competition.
Over 3,000 students entered the competition from around Australia and Hong Kong, with four of our students making up the 250 finalists who were selected.
Vanessa, Paula and Jonathan received commended awards for their short stories and Victoria received a highly commended award for her poem.
The students also visited the Catholic Education Office on Friday the 28th of November to share their achievements with Executive Director of Schools, Greg Whitby.
